An accomplished technology executive and entrepreneur, Mr. Ramer has helped raise tens of millions of dollars in financing for growth companies in the cleantech sector. Before joining EVConnect, Mr. Ramer led corporate development for NanoH2O, a venture-backed developer of energy efficient water purification technology. Previously, he held executive positions in business development, product management and marketing at AeroVironment, an electric vehicle infrastructure developer, where he spent seven years elevating the company into the industry leader, spearheading the company’s international expansion and launching its fleet management software solution. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ramer held roles in business development, finance and strategy for several venture-backed technology start-ups, as well as Arthur Andersen. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Skidmore College. Mr. Juhasz brings more than 20 years of engineering, software development, product management and business development experience to EV Connect. Prior to joining EV Connect, he was the Director of Software Product Management for Aerovironment’s PosiCharge business unit where he focused on elevating the company’s industrial electric vehicle charging solution. Prior to Aerovironment, he held leadership roles at Autodesk and Boeing Space Systems where he focused on product management and system design. Mr. Juhasz holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Anderson School at UCLA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the UCLA School of Engineering and Applied Science. Peter Michalski has over 20 years of experience in the electric vehicle charger and infrastructure industry. Prior to EV Connect Mr. Michalski held various positions at Edison International, including leadership of the Minit-Charger business line that produced industry leading advanced high output chargers for both on-road and off-road EV’s. Mr. Michalski’s experience at Edison also includes his role as Director of Technology and Operations at Edison EV where he oversaw the installation of over 1000 residential and public charger installations during rollout of the CA ZEV program in the late 1990’s. Key accomplishments include developing the work processes and methodologies for EV charger installation and coordination in support of major vehicle manufacturer’s EV launch programs and demonstration projects. Mr. Michalski also participated in detailed evaluation of various renewable energy power plant technologies with a specific focus on solar energy and battery energy storage. Prior to Edison, Michalski gained extensive domestic and international experience in major program management, engineering and construction in the oil and gas industry. Michalski has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. David Hughes brings over 30 years experience in major corporate and international finance operations to the EV Connect team. His extensive leadership and management experience has provided him with the ability to develop innovative strategies for accelerating company growth. Previously, Mr. Hughes provided strategic insight as a C-level executive in the solar industry. His experience also extends to the banking industry where he served as vice president at major international banks including Sumitomo and Lloyds. At Lloyds, he worked in the Transactional Finance and Private Banking Groups and was responsible for private banking and transactional finance with a portfolio in excess of $6 billion. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics and pursued graduate banking courses at Manchester Business School. Joseph Cannon has more than 20 years of experience growing businesses in the power generation and cleantech sectors. Prior to joining EV Connect, Mr. Cannon founded and was President of Empire Solar, a solar integration firm, where he focused on growing the business into a leading solar installer in the Southern California area. Prior to Empire Solar, he held positions at Bain Consulting, Boeing Rocketdyne, and General Electric. Mr. Cannon has also worked with a number of early stage companies in the energy efficency and service industries. Mr. Cannon earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Anderson School at UCLA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Mr. Minami brings over twelve years of experience in the architecture, design, and development of software and systems for both large enterprises and startups including Symantec, eBay, and LinkedIn. While at Symantec, he worked on the inaugural version of Norton Family as well as Symantec's Security Information Manager. At eBay, Mr. Minami held the role as Member of Technical Staff, where he was a lead engineer on eBay's next-generation media platform used to store, process, and serve the millions of images uploaded to the site each day. Prior to joining EV Connect, he held the position of Senior Software Engineer at LinkedIn.
