National Plug In Day 2013 – Long Beach, CA

EV Connect was represented at the National Plug In Day celebration in Long Beach, CA on Saturday, September 28.  Our Strategic Sales Manager, Terri Pollino, was in attendance along with her newly purchased C-Max Energi (Ford) Plug-In Hybrid.  Terri had the opportunity to meet and greet multiple EV enthusiasts and share her personal experiences with driving and charging her PHEV.

On this gorgeous fall day in Southern California, approximately 200 EV’s were displayed and over 500 EV enthusiasts were in attendance.  This event was one of nearly 100 Plug In Day events around the country and was hosted by Chancellor White and Len Pettis from the Cal State University Chancellors Office and Vice Mayor Robert Garcia.   Adopt-a-Charger’s Kitty Adams was the main coordinator of the event and was present to kick off the press conference and raffle several eco-friendly prizes, including a home charger by Clipper Creek.

Just some of the EVs represented were nearly 100 Nissan LEAFs, 26 Tesla Model S, 25 Chevy Volts and then a mix of BMW, Honda Fit, Tesla Roadster, Fiat 500e, Toyota Plug-in Prius C, Mitsubishi I, Chevy Spark, Ford Focus, C-Max Energi, Coda, Fisker Karma and a couple of SMART cars.
