The RAQC and CEO created this funding opportunity to promote the transformation of the region’s transportation system by incentivizing the development of electric vehicle charging networks. In doing so, the State of Colorado aims to reduce harmful air pollutants, lessen greenhouse gas emissions, and advance fleet sustainability.
Only applicants within the Denver metro area (Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson and parts of Weld County) are eligible for to receive funding.
Eligible applicants include local governments, school districts, state/federal agencies, non-profits, apartment/condominium complexes and businesses that own multi-vehicle parking facilities for fleet, public, employee or guest/visitor parking. No priority is given based on organization type. Additionally, The Evaluation Committee has the ability to award partial funding to applicants if the applicant is willing to accept the reduced award.
